Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular, Part IX
Although it's easy to focus on the beautifully sculpted showpiece pumpkins, the majority of the pumpkins were smaller pumpkins that filled out the show and created the mood.
They were everywhere, and since each one was unique they were really quite interesting if you looked at them. They were also what made this a Spectacular instead of an outdoor exhibition of some really nicely carved pumpkins.
50 carved pumpkins are nice. 500 are awesome.

Yes, I'm sorry. I suck at life. And I'm very, very sad to report that the Spectacular has returned to its usual haunting grounds in Providence, RI, so we're a lot less likely to make it there this year. /face so sad there's no emote for it

Jack-o-lantern Spectacular
Next year, someone remind me about this. It was an amazing event, and we have 60+ pictures of it. We'll do a photo a day or something for October. Hmm. 60+. Maybe for September and October. And then we'll all carve our own and post them. Pumpkins rock.

Jack-o-lantern pictures will come later. Mine was a Portal Companion Pumpkin, and naturally I had to cut a heart out of it. Banik toasted the seeds; they're kind of like eating popcorn.
